Our goal with this blog has always been to keep our readers up-to-date with the latest news and information. Maintenance reminders and other on-goings are also vital to our efforts. However, in order to make sure the right information is finding its way into the hands of those who could really benefit from it, we want to ensure that we comply with the latest Canadian laws, which in this case is the new CASL guidelines.
Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation, CASL for short, is a series of laws put in place to make sure your inbox isn’t flooded with unwanted marketing messages and worst of all, spam. Special offers, new products, promotions, any form of messaging with the intent to sell that you didn’t ask for are now controlled for under CASL. These messages can come in through email, text message and even social media.
In order to make sure we’re doing this properly we’ll be changing how we send out our marketing messages. Over the next few days our current list of subscribers will be receiving an email allowing them to opt-in or opt-out from our newsletter subscription.
If you’d still like to receive our posts, please sign up using the form to the right. You’ll be put on our mailing list where you’ll get all the insider information from plumbing professionals. From tips on how to protect your pipes from the winter freeze to timely reminders on when it’s best to clean your intake filters and ensure that those drains are cleared.
